Lower Body Fat Percentage

Do you want to get a lower body fat percentage? Well, you're not lonely. Fact is, this is a very simple and basic process. However, it usually require some hard work and dedication from anyone to achieve this goal. To get a lower body fat percentage you have to lose fat, and keep on to as much muscle as possible.  Just to "lose weight", which usually is seen as a feat iself,  is not the right way. Fact is, this can be counterproductive. If you go on a very hard diet, a starvation type diet or one of the many gimmick/trend diet and don't train your muscles properly, you will lose loads of muscle in the process. In the end you might just shut down your metabolism, lose 10 pounds but still be just as fat as before. And when you start to eat a little bit more, you will gain back the weight you just got rid of. It's a tormenting cycle. This is how to get a lower body fat percentage:Follow a sound weight training routine that allow you to increase your strength regularly. Sure, when you try to get rid of fat you will eat less,  resulting in less favorable strength increases. If you are on a high level a strength loss of 5-10% is acceptable, but in most other cases one should actually be able to get stronger while losing fat, even if it will be in a slower pace than otherwise.Follow a diet which is built around nutrition timing: eating more after the workouts, thus replenishing the muscles and making recovery easier.  Carbs should be kept to a minimum, except after workouts. After workouts the body store nutrients much more efficient, so you can conumse quite a lot of carbs here.On days with no weight training, implement some low intensity cardio, like walking for an hour. Eat only protein, healthy fats and veggies.Don't forget the most basic factor: you have to be in calorie deficit. This can be achived in many ways, but I usually do like this:Weight training days: calorie surplus of about 500 caloriesNon weight training days: calorie deficit of about 500 caloriesUsuing a food scale is nearly a most when doing this. Without a food scale counting calories become more of a guess than a precise measuring process, which will make your goal to a lower body fat percentage become a gamble instead of a rationally structured plan.
