Royal Rumoured to Have Had Teeth Whitening

Women wanting to achieve the Kate Middleton look may have to undergo teeth whitening procedures. The Daily Mail recently reported that the royal bride-to-be was rumoured to have had teeth whitening treatment before her engagement to Prince William was formally announced by Clarence House.Columnist Richard Kay revealed that Ms Middleton may gave had a teeth whitening makeover at one of the capital city's most prestigious dentists in time for the treatment to have full affect before going in front of the world's cameras. He wrote in his high society column: "Her gleaming new smile looks as though it was topped off with a course of teeth whitening to give that Hollywood sparkle.""Treatment can last between six months and two years. In Kate's case, it seems to have been perfectly timed for the announcement of her engagement."It was further reported that Ms Middleton had cosmetic dentistry work as a child as it is widely known that she wore a conventional brace from the age of 12 and she also had noticeable gap between her two eye teeth until recently. The future Princess is in good company as Clarence House confirmed recently that her groom-to-be also had cosmetic dentistry in his youth in the form of a brace for a period of ten years.People interested in having teeth whitening treatments should ensure they go to a qualified cosmetic dentist as DIY home kits can leave a smile looking ridiculous if inadequately applied.Teeth whitening procedures can last for as little as an hour with some dentists treat the teeth with whitening gel and then apply a laser to the gel, which gives the tooth a whiter appearance. Professional dentists will also have the experience and expertise to select the best shade of white for their patient which can leave them looking years younger and feeling more confident. David Ross, Chief Executive of The Hospital Group, said: "Teeth whitening can help people to look much younger but it is important to pick a natural looking shade of white to give the best possible results."As teeth age it is only natural for them to turn yellow and stained over time, especially if they have been exposed to copious cigarettes, tea, coffee and red wine as these habits can seriously stain a smile. It was recently reported that celebrity chef Gordon Ramsey underwent cosmetic surgery and teeth whitening in an attempt to appear younger on camera.
